ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL ADVOCATE / SOLO WORLD TRAVELER
Sonia is a passionate traveler from Poland, exploring the world solo in her wheelchair. Before her injury, she visited many places, and now, she’s on a mission to see how they’ve adapted for wheelchair users. She loves sharing her travel experiences and tips with fellow wheelchair users, making travel more accessible for all.
With a background in aviation and international travel, Sonia frequently answers travel-related questions from people across the globe. She also collaborates with the Active Rehabilitation Foundation in Poland, helping individuals adjust to life with a wheelchair—whether through social integration, work, or sports. Her specialty? Making travel more inclusive.
Beyond her travels, Sonia is committed to personal growth. She attends Spanish and English classes during the week, while on weekends, she’s self-teaching Japanese. Fitness is another key part of her life—regular gym workouts and physiotherapy sessions keep her strong and resilient for her solo adventures.
Sonia’s ultimate goal is to work with airports and airlines to raise awareness about the urgent need for better travel standards for people with disabilities.
ADVENTURE KNOWS NO LIMITS!
