QUINTY HARTENDORP

DISABILITY ADVOCATE | NURSING STUDENT | ADAPTIVE CREATOR | HEALTH & WELLNESS ENTHUSIAST

Quinty Hartendorp’s life changed after an operation resulted in paralysis caused by FND and hEDS . Overnight, everything she thought her future would look like shifted.

But Quinty is not someone who stays stuck in what was.

Instead of allowing her diagnosis to define her, she chose to rediscover herself. Not by pretending everything is easy — but by showing what rebuilding actually looks like.

As a nursing student, Quinty carries a rare and powerful dual perspective. She understands healthcare from textbooks and clinical training — but also from hospital beds, long recovery days, and lived experience. That combination drives her passion for more compassionate, inclusive, and truly person-centered care.

As an adaptive creator, Quinty is on a mission to break taboos. She shares the real, unfiltered reality of life in a wheelchair — the independence, the frustration, the confidence, the vulnerability, the growth. The conversations people avoid? She has them. The parts people don’t see? She shows them.

And she’s still discovering who she is now.

Her journey isn’t polished — it’s evolving. This year, Quinty is challenging herself to try as many adaptive sports as possible. From not knowing where to start, to figuring out what she loves and where her strengths are — she’s bringing her community along for the entire process. Because growth doesn’t happen after you “have it all together.” It happens while you’re still figuring it out.

Quinty travels the world, showing not only her personal journey but also how accessible—or inaccessible—each place is for people with disabilities. Her content highlights both adventure and the real-life challenges of living in a wheelchair, inspiring curiosity and meaningful conversations.

Passionate about health, mindset, and pushing beyond perceived limits, Quinty believes disability is not the end of identity — it’s the beginning of a deeper one.

Life on wheels hasn’t slowed her down. It has expanded her world, strengthened her resilience, and given her a new purpose: to show that rebuilding is powerful — and that becoming is just as important as being.

Spinergy wheels have allowed Quinty to fully explore this world, try new sports, and take the road less traveled. They give her the freedom to discover, connect, and share her story — proving that living life on wheels hasn’t slowed her down one bit, but instead opened doors to new adventures, experiences, and possibilities.
