PERSONAL TRAINER & NUTRITION COACH / ADAPTIVE ATHLETE / ENTREPRENEUR / FUR MOMMA
Nikki Walsh is a powerhouse in the adaptive fitness space, dedicated to helping wheelchair users get 1% better every day.
In 2018, a car accident left Nikki paralyzed from the chest down. Before her injury, she was a passionate personal trainer, but after the accident, she faced a new reality—one that challenged not just her body, but her mindset. Through shifting her perspective and overcoming imposter syndrome, she reclaimed her identity as an athlete. She began training her own body again, earned her NASM recertification, and founded Adapt Fit, an online personal training company for wheelchair users.
She is also the co-owner of Wheel With Me Adapt Fit, a fitness app designed specifically for wheelchair users—a personal trainer in your pocket that every wheelchair user needs. With accessible workouts, expert guidance, and motivation at your fingertips, the app is helping people take control of their health and fitness like never before.
Nikki refuses to let limitations define her and instead focuses on breaking barriers in adaptive fitness. Through her coaching, social media presence, and innovative fitness programs, she provides the tools and motivation for wheelchair users to build strength, confidence, and independence.
With Spinergy Wheels at her side, Nikki continues to push the limits—proving that mobility is not an obstacle but an opportunity. Her passion for fitness, combined with her drive to uplift the adaptive community, makes her a force for change in the world of wheelchair athletics and beyond.
