Casey Gemma lives in Cornwall UK, close to her favorite things - the sea, the moors and the woods. In April, 2021 Casey was out with her partner doing what they loved best... Downhill mountain biking. When a bad crash sent Casey over the handlebars, which left her instantly paralysed from the waist down (T8 complete paraplegic). Casey spent the next few months in hospital recovering and coming to terms with her injury, wondering if she would have to give up her active lifestyle that she loved.

Since then Casey has gone on to get back on a mountain bike, just one with 3 wheels instead of 2! And has also become a mountain bike instructor.

This year Casey became a mum to her beautiful daughter, and that has been Casey's biggest dream and adventure yet, above all else.

Casey is passionate about making the outdoors accessible for all, because everybody has the right to access nature, it's so good for the soul.

Casey has used Spinergy wheels since her accident 4 years ago. She has put them through their paces, with all of her adventuring and they're still going strong! They give her the confidence to tackle any obstacle that she stumbles upon.
